“Spring has sprung. The grass is riz. I wonder where the little birdies is.” Do you remember that funny poem about spring? There is such a wonderful feeling of renewal this time of year. There’s Easter, of course, then thoughts of planting flowers and vegetables. There also seems to be a resurgence of fun springtime wines.
White, Red, plus lovely dry and flavourful Rosé wines that not only will go with Easter dinner, but most lightened up spring food. The barbeque tends to get dusted off and tested out this time of year too.
Food friendly and lovely sippin’ on their own… that’s how I would describe our selection of wines this month. Oh and they won’t break the bank, either. After all, you want to save up a few sheckles for those new spring duds or the spring cleanout and sudsing up of the car. Cheers to you and Cheers to spring!
